Alpine MDF was first established as Dominance Industries Pty Ltd
1996
The plant started operations and the first MDF was produced.
2000
Certified for JAS/ANZ Standard ensuring Alpine products meet the industry quality requirements.
2002
Dominance Industries was taken over by Sumitomo Forestry Company Ltd of Japan and name changed to Alpine MDF Industries Pty Ltd
2002
Certified for ISO-14001
ensuring Alpine has a good operational management put in place.
2002
Certified for AWPA-JIS A-5905 ensuring Alpine is able to meet the highest Japanese standards requirements
2004
Received Certification for FSC/CoC enabling Alpine to ensure its products are produced from sustainable wood materials.
2009
Alpine Primed Moulding line was added to cater for market demand
2010
Alpine Flat Panel Painting Line was commissioned to increase value to its product range.
2016
A second paint line was added to increase capacity.
2017
Alpine MDF was acquired by Metro Particle Co Ltd of the Metro Ply Group from Thailand
